Particle trajectories are based on the random walk model using HF-drived vector currents. The age of particle is indicated by the color.
Hourly radials are optimally interpolated into vector currents, the data region near Gold Gate Bridge, which is not covered by HF radar, are linearly interpolated (The radials at CRIS are hourly and 5-degree-bin averaged).
